Why should you mount your TV on the wall?
Better viewing angles. When we mount your TV on the wall, we work with you to get the best possible viewing angle for everyone that will be using the TV. By mounting it on the wall, there will be way more flexibility, providing you with a more comfortable or efficient view of your TV
Safety. TVs are getting bigger and bigger, which also means more heavy. If your TV is sitting on the stand and someone runs into it, it is more likely to fall over and break, or even worse, injure someone. By having Arvada Handyman mount your TV, you will get a very safe installation. We make sure that the TV is securely on the wall so that it won’t fall down in case someone bumps into it.
Adjustability. A wall mounted TV is way easier to adjust. The most TVs we mount are getting mounted on articulating wall mounts, therefore, it can swivel from side to side. This improves viewing angles, so you always get the best experience.
Security. A wall mounted TV is way harder to steal in case of a break in. This is normally not a big concern, but a nice benefit from wall mounting your TV.
Looks cleaner. Having your TV mounted on the wall looks cleaner and more minimalistic than having it siting on a TV stand. It also clears up more floor space, in which, that space can be used for other things. Furthermore, we also offer to hide all of your cables in the wall, which gives you a nice and clean installation.
Installations of Blinds and Curtains
Blinds
The first thing when shopping for blinds is to decide if you want your blinds to be installed inside or outside of your window frame. Then it is time to measure your window frame to get the right size blinds. To find the right measurement, you’ll need to measure your window frame’s width and height. We recommend measuring the width at the top, middle, and bottom. When buying blinds, go off of the most narrow measurement. Not all window frames are completely square, even if it looks like it. If you don’t measure all 3 places to find the most narrow section, you’ll end up with having some blinds that don’t fit properly, and they will need to be cut. If you decide to go with mounting your blinds outside of the window frame, we recommend adding 1.5 inches to the measurement on both sides, to ensure a good overhang and giving you better privacy.
Curtains
When mounting curtains and curtains rods, there are only a few things to be aware of. Normally there is a wooden frame around the window, that you can screw your curtain rod brackets into. If not, it is important to use the correct anchors to make a secure installation of your curtains. Next step is to make sure to get the right size curtain rod. The most curtain rods can be extended, but they normally have a max length, so make sure you get some curtains rods that are within the right specs for the size of your window.
