We do spring start-ups, service, repair, and winterizing of swamp coolers on roofs and side mounted.

We help with picking up and assembling all kinds of furniture, no matter what type or where it is from.

We can do all kinds of repairs and replacements on toilets, garbage disposals, faucets, shower heads, and sinks.

We do installations of new doors, new locks (also smart locks), handles, and the fixing of old squeaking doors.

We can fix and replace all types of wooden, composite, and metal fences. We build new fences and move existing fences.

We do demolition on everything from inside walls to big sheds, even ground and lifted decks. We always supply our own dumpster!

We do the start-up for sprinkler systems in the spring, service them throughout the year, and replace backflows.

At Arvada Handyman, we offer a wide variety of services. Here you can find a list of services that are not described above. This is not a full list of all our services, so if you have something in mind that you can't find on our service list, contact us! We might be able to help you, even if it's not listed.

• Changing Light Bulbs. Do you need help with changing your light bulb in a light fixture, oven, microwave, vent, car, or somewhere else? We can both pick up the bulb for you and replace it.

• Changing Outlet/Switch Covers. Over time outlets and switch covers tend to fade in color, they can go out of style, or sometimes they break. If you have this happen, we can supply new covers and replace them for you.

• Replacing or Installing Smoke Alarms. Smoke alarms are important to have to protect yourself from fire and smoke. Most smoke alarms are operated on batteries and will need new batteries from time to time. We recommend replacing your smoke detectors at least every 10 years because the sensor can wear out over time.

• Re-caulking. Is your caulk around your vanity, toilet, shower, or tub cracking or has it gotten quite gross looking, it is probably time to get it replaced. The old caulk will have to be cut out, and then the new caulk applied.

• Install New Doorbell. Whether it is a smart doorbell or a traditional doorbell, we can install your new doorbell for you.

• Install or Re-mount Towel Hooks and Bars. Do you need more towel hooks or bars in your bathroom or kitchen? Was your old bar not installed correctly and is now loose? We can help you out!

• Install or Repair Door Stops. It is important to have door stops on all doors that can swing into a wall. If you don’t have a door stop, you are risking the handle damaging the wall. Sometimes door stops also become loose; we can come and tighten them up.

• Furnace Filter Replacement. Arvada Handyman recommends replacing your furnace filter at least every 3 months. If you don’t feel comfortable doing it, Arvada Handyman can help you with this.

• Replacing Air Vent Grills. All houses that have a furnace also have air vents. These are made with a little lever to open and close the airflow. Over time this can break. Give us a call and we can replace your air vent grill.

• Replacing Screens. If you have cats or dogs, you know how easily screens in windows and doors can get damaged. If you have any damaged screens in doors or windows, we can reuse the original frame and replace the screen material for you.

• Repairing Sliding Doors. Arvada Handyman works both on inside pocket doors and on outside sliding doors, so if your sliding door is not sliding as well as it used to, it is probably time for some maintenance on it.
